Why don't you start a new thread with updated scores or ask Kitaru and offer help with the table?
Starting a new thread seems a bit of an overreaction. I'd just ping @Kitaru to get his attention that the thread needs updating.
I was busy with a move and the holidays, so I haven't had a lot of time to spare to go through and update things on this leaderboard. I've tried to enlist help updating the spreadsheet that backs the score thread script a couple of times, but each volunteer usually drops off after one (or zero) updates and I'm the only one working on it again. I also think that a more scalable solution would be some sort of actual automated form everyone can fill out, or some sort of script that picks up score posts from here in a particular format, or something, but I haven't been able to work on that yet either.
If someone wants access to the Google Sheet that I use to generate the thread, let me know and we can coordinate something. Otherwise, I'll probably be able to get to it again as soon as January rolls around.
I have set a new PR!
level 26 + 1.041 lines:
Level 18 start

I was thinking I was never gonna beat my PB - 548k four months ago - but slowly started to hit 500k more regularly, and then out of nowhere (I didn't play a game for two weeks) I beat it four times in four days. Two 551k scores, a 618k where I got to Level 27 (had never got to Level 24 before) and then a 620k transition game (with immediate fail on 19, sadly).
Hardware: Nestopia + laptop keyboard
18 Start - 28 Finish (222 Lines)
Hmmm. Having trouble getting the forum to link to the Twitch highlight...and the video is too big for my Youtube account.
Here is a pic until we can figure the video out. It sits right on my Twitch channel.
Score: A00'400 Points (Swiss National Record)
Hardware: Original (With CRT)
Congratulations @Eris !!
Hopefully I'm next up!
I hope the same for you, Raul!

One Tetris from glory!
I have come so far that I could cry.
Uploading to Twitch and highlighting. Video available tomorrow afternoon!
I have the video segment uploaded to my Twitch account. If someone could let me know how to link the video to the forum, I'll get it posted up.
I guess just remove the space and fast forward to 23:55
Name: Emmanuel Solera
Score: 563457 (Level 9 Start, 19 End, 198 Lines)
Hardware: Emulator (Nestopia) with Hyperkin controller
563k at the transition is super solid score!
Little bit of 19 practice and 600k+ is right there for you.
Thank you Raul1138 !
Just a little bit of practice and you'll become a maxouter!
@Emmanuel Solera: how do you experience using Hyperkin? Is his D-Pad precise, or does pressing the down arrow work diagonally (down and side)?
Some time ago I was thinking about buying it, but on YouTube I found videos from unboxing and on them the owners showed that it has an imprecise D-Pad. It was almost impossible to squat in Ninja Gaiden, which is normally possible by pressing down arrow.
That's why I finally bought Data Frog, because I didn't have such problems with it, and besides it was much cheaper, so I could buy more controllers for the price of one Hyperkin.
