This is the first time I've come to kill screen. Good RNG. Max out is so close.

  6. Why has my score not been updated? I've uploaded 2 higher scores since my last score on the leaderboard. Do I need to upload a video or something?
  7. See the date of the last edition of the first post in this thread. The table has not been updated at all for over two months. That's why.
  8. Why don't you start a new thread with updated scores or ask Kitaru and offer help with the table?

Starting a new thread seems a bit of an overreaction. I'd just ping @Kitaru to get his attention that the thread needs updating.

  10. As with a number of forums, there seems to be a bit of a migration over to Discord and Twitch, and that's probably where most of the Tetris discussion, competition, and record-keeping is taking place. Plus, with the explosion of new players and maxouters, and PBs changing all the time, it's probably a bit much for one person to keep track of. For example, there are 47 maxouters on Alex's list, but as of typing I believe there are now actually 86.

Chris Foryst is maintaining a list of all maxouters, and he also has a list of as many PBs as he could find, so that's probably the most complete directory at the minute. His maxout list is here and his all player list is here (I'm at #97 on Alex's list, but #271 on Chris's, so quite a lot more).

Discord and Twitch are linked via the ClassicTetrisBot, and players can set their PBs there, and I believe it goes to Chris somehow. So that's probably the future of Tetris score-keeping - though Alex's list is more complete when it comes to when a maxout took place.

Maybe some online competition might be up your street? I wrote a guide of how to get into that here.

    Cheers. :)
  11. I was busy with a move and the holidays, so I haven't had a lot of time to spare to go through and update things on this leaderboard. I've tried to enlist help updating the spreadsheet that backs the score thread script a couple of times, but each volunteer usually drops off after one (or zero) updates and I'm the only one working on it again. I also think that a more scalable solution would be some sort of actual automated form everyone can fill out, or some sort of script that picks up score posts from here in a particular format, or something, but I haven't been able to work on that yet either.

If someone wants access to the Google Sheet that I use to generate the thread, let me know and we can coordinate something. Otherwise, I'll probably be able to get to it again as soon as January rolls around.
