I was thinking I was never gonna beat my PB - 548k four months ago - but slowly started to hit 500k more regularly, and then out of nowhere (I didn't play a game for two weeks) I beat it four times in four days. Two 551k scores, a 618k where I got to Level 27 (had never got to Level 24 before) and then a 620k transition game (with immediate fail on 19, sadly). Something's shifted! @Emmanuel Solera 563k at the transition is super solid score! Little bit of 19 practice and 600k+ is right there for you.
@Emmanuel Solera: how do you experience using Hyperkin? Is his D-Pad precise, or does pressing the down arrow work diagonally (down and side)? Some time ago I was thinking about buying it, but on YouTube I found videos from unboxing and on them the owners showed that it has an imprecise D-Pad. It was almost impossible to squat in Ninja Gaiden, which is normally possible by pressing down arrow. That's why I finally bought Data Frog, because I didn't have such problems with it, and besides it was much cheaper, so I could buy more controllers for the price of one Hyperkin.
Hey furious programming ! The D-Pad seems to me quite precise but it is hard to press it ; it is a little exhausting for the hand. Maybe I should try others controllers to compare and improve my game. Or I should get a real console and a CRT TV...
Wow. Great to see all these long time tetrisconcepters hitting maxouts and high pbs. Congrats Eris, FP, Raul and Josh!
