I got an All Clear (Bravo) in the 300-400 section. You can get it a lot easier in Big Mode. It's as if there was a barrier around 11:35. I destroyed it after trying long enough though! It has been done! Why this obsession with 13 you ask? I was born the 13th and I consider it a lucky number. I'm really sorry mushroom, but you'll have to push yourself one more time. Thanks! I too was surprised when I saw the time after the game. During play I knew I was on course for a better time, but this is really unexpected. I posted a while back my Texmaster best times that indicated that I could get sub 11:10. Still I didn't dare imagining getting this close in TGM. After the game I was drenched in sweat and had to take a shower again. I didn't even get a screenshot with my initials... No matter what I do the 20G part is always over 05:30 in regular play. In 20G mode I got around 05:20 a few times, but that's clearly still too hard. So I focused on doing better in the first part. I would suggest to go full speed, stack high and take big risks even between 300-500. That's the only way I managed to make a difference. Below you can find the estimated section times: 0-100 ---> 01:15:xx 0-200 ---> 02:23:xx 0-300 ---> 03:32:xx 0-400 ---> 04:38:xx 0-500 ---> 05:47:xx 501-999 ---> 05:32:xx Yes, sub 11 minutes is the next goal on the list, but that will be something for next year. I hinted a few times at what I really want... If I play TGM this year it will be 20G, BM or REV. The last 3 weeks I have only played TGM. Focusing on a particular mode for a long time is a sure way to improve. A similar approach will be used for a few other end of the year goals. Good luck mushroom! Actually you only need to improve 4 seconds. 05:30 in the first part? That's 20 seconds faster than what I can do. Still too slow between 300 and 500. Then you should be able to get under or very close to 11 minutes if you manage 05:30 in the 20G part. Any idea of your best over there? I'll try to record a game when I figure out how to get inp files working again in TGM.
0-500 ---> 05:47:xx 501-999 ---> 05:21:xx Best possible is 11:08:xx and I got 11:19:38. Getting much closer isn't realistic without first improving my times. In your case you you could get around 10:45. So getting under 11 minutes shouldn't be too hard if you try long enough. I was thinking we were closer in skill. ; Thanks for giving me a chance to get this high on the ranking. I guess you just need some motivation to improve. I see other people who should be higher ranked than me.
Gm @ 11:10:45 mediocre 5:45 at 500, but I started really fiercely getting into it and bam just barely brings me to 12
Congrats on going sub 12:30. Very good score too. Under 12 minutes by the end of the year is certainly possible if you keep up the pace!
