Well, I think life is conspiring against me. I just put in a new video card into this aging PC, and it was working fine. Out of nowhere after attaining this record, I hurried and printscreened the score, then alttabbed to tell Samael. Of course, my GPU just decided to crash right there and then. I managed to sort of solve it by pulling my PC into and out of standby, but unfortunately it seems the NVRAM didn't save. Oh well, here's the screen. Another New Year's Resolution down!

Finally got that damn GM rank! I'm pretty happy about getting this now. I feel great right now, but I don't know if I want to play any more rounds of Tetris today. Heh.

I can do so much better than this, next time I'm going for sub-11. Had a really terrible 100-200 section and got way too many singles once I hit 20g. edit: okay maybe not sub-11 but definitely under 11:30
Congrats! I think I should be able to get under 12 minutes too, but it won't be easy. I've done it in Texmaster a long time ago, but that's different. I can comfortably get around 06:15 in the first part and 05:45 in the 20G sections. So it should be a close call. However doing even better will be very difficult. Even though my sub 500 speed in TAP has improved recently I can hardly get closer to 6 minutes in TGM. And playing faster in the 20G sections makes reaching the end too hard. It's been more than 3 months now since I last played the main TGM mode and the GM I posted back then is still my only one. A lot of 20G and sub 20G time attack though. I will try to post a new record soon too. EDIT: First try of the day after getting back home. The only thing I did before this game is play one 20G warm-up game that ended at 499. This is only my second GM in TGM.
