I stacked low between level 300 and 500 because I still can't play comfortably in those sections. As soon as I reached 20G I pushed myself to the limit, but slowed down considerably once I got in trouble. Normally I play as aggressively as possible but this time I chose to play it SAFE and go for a good result. I almost got rewarded. I will have my revenge soon!

In the case above I would still be under Air Gear. I not really familiar on if green lines affect rankings in TGM1, but I'll take your word for it. Mostly it's a non-issue because anyone who can get 999 is close to GM anyways.
I've been close on a few occasions too and I know it's terrible to fail when you're so close. In my case it's probably because I can't keep my cool when it matters most. Well, I honestly feel better seeing someone else going through the same pain. Just keep trying. We're bound to get it soon. By the way nice score and time.

A job well done Zircean. Congrats! Nice time and score too. You beat me to it like you said you would. Sub 10 minutes should be possible this year colour_thief! I expected an ass to be GM too by now. I haven't played TGM1 a lot lately, but we should both see to it that we get it soon. Maybe by the end of the week.
