S7 in 9:40:01. Level was 799 (argh). Will produce a screenshot of my high score table if anyone wants it. Not sure how this compares to an S4 in TAP.
Welcome! Nice performance and great speed. Looking at both the TAP Master and TGM Leaderboards learns us that TGM players with the grade S6 get a grade between S1 and S4 in TAP. Your S4 in TAP leads me to believe that your stacking at higher speed is quite good and you also seem to be able to survive quite a bit in 20G. I think you can get GM in TGM soon and you can do it in well under 13 minutes which would be great. Keep it up! How long have you been playing?
Been playing TAP for about 6 months and TGM for about 3. I think I'm capable of getting Gm in TGM, it's just a matter of being able to survive long enough. Plus, I don't play TGM anywhere near as much as I do TAP, I've made it to lv. 891 in TAP Master and that 799 run I mentioned earlier is the farthest I've ever made it in TGM. I think the first time I earn Gm in TGM I'll do it in about 12:30~12:45.
Congratz tada! ..I'm GM quality too!! I'm FINALLY getting my new stick (FSTE) today (I sold my other one, have been without a stick for TWO months )!! And as I've said, I'm gonna go for GM as soon as I have that stick!! ...But it'll (probably) have to wait until after the Death week. =P
Way to go Radish! Didn't expect it this soon. Congratulations! That was indeed close but who cares. GM is GM and nice score. Don't forget to update your sig and you should also add your TAP Master grade. I noticed a mistake on the leaderboard. tada is mentioned twice. Number 42 should be removed from the list. EDIT: I've been slacking off and only been "practicing" the last few months. No more excuses! I will do everything within my power to obtain the GM grade this month.
Congrats Radish. It's nice to see someone being so close to the time limit but being on the good side for once.
Another goal for 2009 surpassed: beat 11:30 by a convincing margin. GM, 999 @ 11:18:30 Again, this could have been better, but I got ridiculously I-starved at around 960 (probably had only one or two I's from there) and had to make holes on my stack.
Ai, thanks for reminding me to update my signature. Thanks to Rosti too for support. This was the first time I have reached 999 in any TGM game, ever. I felt very accomplished. Did I mention it was on my stick, too?
Hopefully I'm lucky enough to get GM the first time I end the game as well. I'm ashamed to post this actually, but this is probably the only way to get me motivated to play more again. This marks the start of my renewed effort for GM. Old habits don't die unfortunately. A new grade still means death soon after.
