And good job cyberguile! @ Rosti LFC: I've got a better game on my TGM ranking, but it's still an S6 and the mastering time isn't that much better. I would post if I had a much better performance. Problem is that I haven't played seriously for a while now. Oh and welcome Lardarse! Last year I said I would try to GM within a year. I only have 3 months left...
Yes congrats Quad! And Ai you can definitely pull it off in the next 3 months. S6 is closer to Gm than you might expect. Don't give up! Even if you miss your target, I'm sure it'll be a close call.
There is no way I would ever give up! I feel S9 isn't that far away anymore and with a little luck even GM could be possible if I keep practicing.

congratz KB, but admit it, it is absolutly abnormal that you can do m8, be so close to the torikan 2:28, and get a so shy GM.. I sugest you to stay a moment on TGM..
Unless he is like me, and has bad habits in stacking flat. I got an M6 in special Ti, and got an S6 in TGM1.
Very nice Kevin Birrell! I always knew you could do it! That was very close indeed, but I'd be even happy with 13:29:99. I practiced a lot in Texmaster and my 20G sector times are around 01:10, but when playing TGM they are around 01:20 which makes a huge difference in the end. I still have faith I will somehow pull it of before May. Amnesia is that you?

I don't know what happened to me. I suppose a month's break from TGM made me more consistent or something, I had around five games of S4 today and this: which is a pretty good improvement time-wise. I also had another game where I was 200 points away from S5 iat 534 (S4 @ 5:46.78, which is like 45 seconds improvement over my last recorded S4). Perhaps taking a break from TGM was a good thing...
