Not much of a bump up the scoreboard but I knocked off nearly 10seconds, im getting there slowly! **--Ex_Mosquito------------Gm - 999 @ 12:38:95 - 10/01/09
I don't know if Texmaster NORMAL records are counted (though I doubt it), but if nothing else, I can definitely improve on my curent time on the leaderboard: Just barely missed 11 minutes...
I didn't know about this feature. But it doesn't seem to be working in Free Play mode. Anything else I should know? Texmaster times are indeed not accepted over here, but it looks like you could get sub 12 minutes in TGM too. Good luck! @ m S5! Very nice indeed. It surprised me to see how long you survived in 20G. Keep it up because this is where it gets difficult! You should also look at LOst's video because that is the video that helped me get S3 before level 300. Nice job everyone else!
Errr, looks like I omitted the important words "start the game." It takes around 5 seconds to suicide and then get to the score list.
I actually got to S4 before level 500 this time. If I could play faster and survive to 999, I bet I could make Gm: EDIT: Date was 1/10/09
i checked out the vid.. i almost did it. i hit s3 at 318. 20 G is new to me. i'v been going from 500 to 800+ in TM but mostly with singles and doubles. i need to get stacking for tetrises and manually locking down. i burn myself when i think the piece is locked and move/rotate it out of place
That's what I'm talking about! It would be nice if you shared your Texmaster save. Thanks in advance! Oh okay.
And trust me, you won't finish with that before a while..I still suffer from that at SHIRASE 600.. THis is a subtile problem which pushes the player to manualy lock at any speed. When you are confident enough to lock every pieces at a several speed, that problem never occur any more..But locking every pieces at SHIRASE 600, I let you imagine the intensity of the thing..
Finally below 12 min: 11:52:60, GM Edit: Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vglFYkIE ... annel_page
As usual thanks for the video LOst and congrats on going under 12 minutes. Very nice performance and very good mastering time. I think it's time for me to start playing for a higher rank with so many people getting closer to S6. TGM: S5 (612 @ 7:52:33) Fixed! The time you used in your signature is when you topped out. The mastering time is when you achieved your highest rank (in this case S5).
S4 in 7:19:18. I forgot to enter my initials, so no point putting up a screenshot. It was really close to S5 though! Less than 1000 points away.
Haha, sorry, mufunyo! And now I've passed you, though still no S5. You could definitely beat me to S5 if you tried...I'm done for the day, I think. S4 @ 6:18:43, level 515 That's almost 2 minutes I've shaved off today!
Well I got an S7 somewhere in the 700's but I am too demoralized to check... I will wait until at least a 999 game to post a new score.
So many not posting until they get S9 or GM when they have a high S grade. Because of that I haven't tried seriously for a while now. I'm waiting to post until I'm confident I can get at least S8. But still, if you posted that S7 I would have certainly tried to defend my position on the leaderboard.
Yeah, people shouldn't be embarrassed about their scores. At the very least it will make the leaderboards more complete and will help provide some incentive for others to improve, even if you're not such a competitive person yourself. My first post on this thread was an S7, and my initial ones on a lot of other threads were far less respectable when compared with the top players at the time.
