So I started playing TGM1 in a TAS at muf's request. The objective is a theoretically perfect play in roughly the style of 777, thus showing what the limit of skill really is. That means a non-platformed start.

    Here's my first line clear.

Just like the Death vid? sure. I might need to enable a cheat to force the right piece sequence though because with a centred frame I won't be able to reuse that same message.

  4. Just remake the message then :p

Unfortunately my japanese is non-existant. Needle made that image for me.

  6. You could expand the video to 16:9 proportions.

  7. ...or not.

Are you sure you couldn't fit the text over the INSERT COIN margin on the left? Maybe retyping it (many people on the forum could do this for you) in a smaller font would help.

A bit bummed about not platforming the start, though doing so will only save you significant time in the first three sections. Are you using a tool to see the piece sequence for the whole game?

I'm interested to see how my rough prediction of 46.5sec per 20G section will pan out.
