Records: [TGM] BIG MODE

Here's my S9:

 

Wasn't fast enough with my phone (this shit disappears so fast without name entry >.<) and my capture setup is on the fritz, so you'll have to take me at my word on this one

20G Big, Level 673, s9. Absolutely no clue what my time was.

With some more practice, this mode can definitely be GM'd by a western player. To be honest, I'm surprised that only two Japanese players have pulled it off (SAL and SQR, afaik).

 

Not that much of an improvement, but it moves me up a spot, so why not post it:

Hmmm, looks like I was comparing to his 20G time. But, if that's the case, then you just pulled off an insane completion time without 20G!
It's a crazy fast time either way!

 

I just asked SQR about this and it looks like he asked SAL. Here's what he said.

"He used to play time attack on the mode but it was very long ago and he said he didn't remember his best exactly (might have beaten 8 minutes but not sure)."
So I guess not even SAL knows.

 

20G, Big mode.

With a bit more practice I'm sure I can clear eventually.

 

Go for it! It's always good to have competition. Would motivate me to try to get it a second time.

 

I added Big Mode and Big 20G Mode tabs to the TGM1 Spreadsheet. These should both be up to date, but please let me know if I missed anything.

I got a Big Mode S9 surviving to 599 at 5:32:21. The game could have lasted longer if I hadn't odd-blocked with the L at 597. (video)
