??????? Texmaster2009.dat ??????????????????????????????? what does it means? I really can't read anything from this. Is it japanese? in the help file encoding is not described... And even if it really so, I don't think anybody would spend days to find this puzzles solution. If it's hidden nobody would even start to look for it. If it was simple the source code were already posted here. It's a nonsense to decompile it.
It's japanese, and it says that he has archived the source code inside the Texmaster2009.dat file and that he has since deleted it from his local drive.
thanks, I'll hope he remember how to extract the source code from it, if not... then bye bye forever. An other tetris game stopped it's run in the middle of it's developement.
It wasn't really in the middle of it's development. There are a few tweaks, and a problem with the grade system on Special Ti if you complete the credit roll, but aside from that it's a pretty complete game. I mean, the fact that he dropped the "beta" bit from it sort of implies it's the end of development, and it feels pretty finished.
I've uploaded my personal music pack for Texmaster, which only covers Special and Sudden mode (based off of The Grand Master 2 TAP). Its a nice selection of trance, electronic, and drum N bass. http://djmp.org/statik/game/TexmasterMusic.zip (55 M
so much effort and work and stoping the work doesn't have much sense, uptodays in 2008 server syncronised highscores is a must, and much other things, like a good gui for key and joystick setting, a manual, version autoupdate and so on.
Who would pay for the server that synchronizes high scores? Static-page-only hosting plans, such as those offered by every ad-supported hosting provider, do not cover this. Even on a paid hosting plan, there remains the problem of scores from a hacked EXE.
Report cited lack of time as the reason for not continuing with the project. That makes perfect sense. He has already done more than enough with the game, it's a free game that he worked on in his spare time. Can't really fault him for quitting when he feels he doesn't have time to spare anymore.
I could give my server for this or find many others, and for transfering and writing scores "encryption" is a standard.
It's possible to get both in Ti. The game ignores the cool and simply gives you a regret. I can force it on demand by playing strangely, but I've seen my girlfriend get them both in regular play.
It makes sense, because the music could stop for instance at level 370, and then you could just muck around at the levelstop for god knows how long, and the next section would still have to be 20G because otherwise the music wouldn't match the speed, or you'd have a section without music.
it's possible to get both a cool and a regret for the same section. The regret overrides the grade impact of the cool, though.
No. She just can't resist the charm of a Ti cabinet. Internet forums about tetris are like a whole other plane of nerdiness.
