Maybe you should try ironing out the flaws in your ability rather than simply requesting a game mode that doesn't test them.
Maybe its on the next page of replays. You have to use Left and Right arrows to scroll through replay pages (even if you keep pressing down it will not advance the page).
I could have sworn they were in order of date, but that could just be because I only play 999D and get an identical performance of 999 in 00:00:00 every single time. Edit: I flipped through a bit. In the case of grade/time ties, it sorts by the time the game was played.
At first I wondered why Texmaster didn't have that option as well, but then I realized that since you can start at any level it's not necessary.
are we supposed to be able to change the aspect ratio? would love to be able to fill my 16:10 screen with the background. changing the value in the ini file just makes it go black and "Error[CApp::SoftStretch]Invalid destination blit rectangle" that happens in the error log over and over.
no, the aspect ratio part is a comment - it's just there to state that you have to use 4:3 resolutions.

My mirror is up. edit: This is a very cool update Report, thank you very much for all the work you're putting into this game.
Wow, awesome job with beta 3. PS: suggestion for later versions. Medals!! PPS: Ok, just played a game, and I was thinking, how the hell do I only have grade 1? Its impossible! Then I topped out, and it showed S4, and I thought, ooohhh, internal grading. Very nice.
Nice, Report! =) Here's my mirror: http://mirror.meroigo.com/texmaster/Tex ... 9beta3.zip Edit: Wouldn't PNG be a better choice than BMP? Since PNG is lossless like BMP and good for the web. BMP files are really heavy for web use... Oh, and I have a suggestion. Where you change the sound volume, can't you add so you can choose volume for both the music and the sound effects? And being able to turn off the sound completely? If I want to play my own music but still have all the effects... Or want to have 0% sound in Texmaster for some other reason. Now you can only change the overall sound and not turn it off completely. =( Edit: Sorry, I noticed that you could turn off the sound completely now. Nice.
PNG is 1/3 of the speed of "verbose" formats like BMP or TGA, which are effectively bitcopied when loading/saving, which means that the limiting factor is disk speed. Of course, you could create a virtual drive in memory and run it from there. That would make screenshots (and texture loading) even faster...
two bugs so far. One has been there since day 1. that is that the field doesn't go away when you pause. The other bug seems to be with normal mode. it only plays music the first time. Section cools are added to the grade at the section boundary if a regret doesn't override. that's how it works in the real games, anyway.
Bug: Renaming game modes as in the INI does not get reflected on the side menu of mode scores. I also took the liberty of doing a TAS of a little death mode. Nice.
Love the new version. Even something simple like the addition of player stats is something I'm extremely pleased by. Also nice to see my name in the credit roll
