edit: watching the replay... 0 triples until level 950+, my last two line clears were both triples

 

Ppfff that sucks..M roll or semi, I can't hadle properly the speed when the first tetriminos come.



I missed 2 cools actually, it would be better for me to never every cools, I think I could get a MK (semi m roll : 3 grades) at 5:35 soon from my estimations.

 

I might as well become active here. I've been playing this a lot.

Just slow down a little and you'll get M with no problem. Maybe even MK.

 

To slow down ?? Are you joking ??!! You are 20sec below me there is no way I slow down !

 

You're missing two cools that you could be getting with ease if you slowed down. Time isn't important in this mode.

 

I don't care about the COOLs, I just want to hit the game under 5 min, which will provide automaticaly the 9 cools so..

 

Not necessarily. There's always room for one section being heavy on downstacking, and then having to stack back up in the next section: this can easily create the 2 second disparity between the 0-70 times for two consecutive sections. I would really listen to Kevin and TWF on this one...

 

I will take care about cools once I will be ok enough with the m roll to get at least 2 grades.
because :

-1+3 > +1

And I am closer to 3 grades with semi m roll than 2 grades with m roll.

 

Amnesia: you can do it! Make tetrises, and just play, a good game will organically grow from it all.

Yes this is exactely my objectif, with 20sec below btw..
I use to have the same kind of game with as many tetrises, but with 2 missing cools instead of 1, and still 2 grades at fading m roll.
So MK - 2 = m9, count is good.

 

Finaly a score here.
Jago has come in my flat for the night before going to Burkina, this game was actually the only one I did to show him how I play.
After having missed the 2nd COOL, I said something like :

"you know usualy I drop the game because I can't stand to enter at 400 without max speed.."

Proof that we should never give up any game for so futile reasons.
