The desync is youtube's fault! My original video plays perfectly fine. You can use hold, but then the block coming out of hold has these negative effects.
Video: x264 Audio: AAC It's what I've used since forever, so I don't get why there's a problem all the sudden. I didn't change anything, Youtube did.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QElac4UVNIc give me views!!! i'm happy about my new tetris friends score, it finally took back 1st place from a 96TPM ST stacker. probably won't stay at first long though lol, i'm only leading by 200 pts. also it shows my improvement in tspin recognition as i'm pulling off tspins i never would have a few months ago, so watch the video bitchessss. I SAID WATCH IT!
Watched it, commented on it, I think I rated it, subscribed to your channel. Nice playing there blink. Congrats on the high score. I've got some Splash, Evolution (with some infinity abuse), a couple of GTA4 vids and one for hexic if anyone wants to check them out: http://www.youtube.com/user/DumbledorsArmy360
A Japanese player clearing Another 2 mode in TGM-ACE: http://dzag.no-blog.jp/55555/2008/06/post_3037.html The player's blog estimates that ARE is 6 frames, and line clear is 10 frames. The speed that mode forces you to play at is pretty crazy, but of course TGMA uses move reset, which he doesn't abuse all that much. Some Ti videos on that blog too. (Use the left to navigate.) Enjoy.
Yeah. It's the rotation system I play with in Heboris. Slower fast drop, SRS colors, 128-limit infinity, but it's still ARS. Kind of. Here's another one from the same player: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aP5nig1HoIM
just came across this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIVyMENph7Y it's a NES tetris A-type maxout starting at level 19 (played on a real NES with a real NES controller). for anyone unfamiliar with NES tetris, basically level 29 is impossible. so he had to make as many tetrises (with a memoryless randomizer) as he could from levels 19-28 to reach 999,999. starting on a lower level would have made tetrising easier, and he could've built up a lot of points early [as seen here (another vid of the same player)], then played conservatively the last few levels. with the level 19 start it's really awesome to see how aggressive he is the whole time, passing up a triple when he gets a precious I piece, then fighting and skimming until the next I comes. anyway, check it out, it's only 8 and a half minutes.
What if Tetris were controlled more like Sokoban or Wario's Woods? Little Big Planet Tetris [JPN] - ???????????????? (10:36)
While that Little Big Planet one was PAINFUL to watch (rotating pieces took forever, and since the pieces weren't alligned to a grid, so did placing them) it was INCREDIBLY creative how it all worked. Little Big Planet never ceases to amaze me.
that is a really cool idea, but it looked tough to get an I into a narrow hole away from the wall. awesome Z placement at around 3:00.
that's actually a pretty sweet setup, all things considered. is that a modified heboris your playing?
Maybe you did not notice the subtility, it is a travel from the deepest area of the solar system, to the center : 0 - 100 : Pluton and Sharon 100 - 200 : Neptune and its satelites 200 - 300 : Uranus 300 - 400 : Saturn with the Casini sonde 400 - 500 : Jupiter (last step before entering in serious things..) 500 - 600 : the North pole of Mars 600 - 700 : A nice earth dawn viewed from space 700 - 800 : The terrible Venus, suggering that I am in the center of hell.. 800 - 900 : Mercury, the little and sweet mercury, almost the end of the nightmare.. 900 - 999 : The final and hot burst, the sun.. He likes that, trust me..
