Tetris 'helps to reduce trauma'

According to a BBC article, anyway.

Apparently they showed some subjects traumatic video, then made them play Tetris. Flashbacks to the traumatic memories were reduced.

Someone in another IRC channel I hang out in actually linked this to me earlier. My response: Clearly they didn't play Death mode.

*flashbacks to horrible TA death runs, which recursively triggers more horrible flashbacks*

 

thus making you forget you just got your leg chopped off in a wood chipper.
