why not have a series of smaller tournaments with small windows for signing up and playing matches? say people have 24 hours to sign up and only 24 hours to play each match. if someone puts in the effort to play their match but can't find their competitor, they would win by default. if someone wants to sign up but doesn't do it in time then they can suck it but they could always sign up for the next tourney just a few days later. it would keep the fields small, and the players involved would probably get their matches played because they wouldn't have time to lose interest.

maybe some tourneys would end up really small, with 4 players or whatever, but in this case it would be easy to complete the tourney, and maybe that would make it more fun for those involved.

going along with jujube's idea, what about a 1 day tourney. with less matches per player, and rounds being played simultaneously.

i don't care if i get crushed, i just want to play good players, but two "classes" sounds good also.

Alright, so I waded thru all the dutch, and finally got to play. But the game runs like a bag of ball sacks on my computer, and lags up so bad every 5ish seconds, that I can not play it. My 40 line time was above 2 minutes thanks to the shit storm of lag I was getting.

Any help anyone can give me?

Rosti, I'm not going to be able to participate due to some issues i am having with my computer with this game, but I'm going to be formatting my computer soon I think so maybe that will clean it up so possibly next time you guys start this I will be able to play if it runs more smoothly.

I noticed the avatar change a few days ago, before you started posting. Nice to see you back posting and good luck with the league.

Sorry that I haven't played since the first week of the league, been a little busy with programming and playing other games, texmaster, the carnival and so on..
Maybe I'll drop in this weekend or during the next week to play some more. If not you can always post here or send a PM if you want to play and I should reply and be able to go online.
