Season two has now finished. The next season will probably start in two or three weeks.

The new divisions for the third season are up in the first post. I appear to have fucked up somewhere and have 12,10,11 players in the divisions instead of 11,11,11, but I'll keep things how they currently are.

As things stand, I intend for all new players to go through a couple of trial matches to decide which Division they shall be placed in. New players will play the bottom player of Division B. If they lose, they will go into Division C. If they win, they will be placed provisionally in B, and knock the bottom player down if the numbers need to be adjusted. They will then play the bottom player in A for a place in the top division if they win. This should hopefully keep things a bit more evenly matched throughout the next season.

It'll take three players in a row to beat you before you've really got much chance of being knocked down into Division C again. I'd like the numbers to be reasonably close between the divisions, but I'm not going to kick someone down a division on the basis of just a couple of games.

I'm sorry, but I cannot participate this time around. I will be busy watching/listening to hockey as the season starts next week, also busy playing both NHL games on my xbox, I'm really crazy about the sport you see...

I'll give it another shot. I had a bad run last time; I was basically taking a Tetris break as soon as this began, and as soon as I planned to go active, I lost my internet connection for several weeks.

You can remove me Rosti, I prefer to be polite and tell you that than not giving any news while the contest is running. I am going to be to much busy during the folowing weeks, my project in China has been canceled but I will still be working in the same enterprise at Paris. Maybe the China will come later in a few months, but currently I have to find a flat in Paris, which is a much more difficult task than it is in the english world. And the other point is that I wish to do something else in the few free hours I will have than playing tetris. I am well going for a 6 months break and I really need it. About the new stick, I think I should have one soon now thank to the salary I will receive. BTW if you see a good occasion on internet now it is the good moment to give me a link.

My current project to replace Tetris :

-Improve my chinese skill
-Build my last version of a sinkable titanic model (1/200)
-Get in the top world 10 of TOAW serie (currently 19th)

I would like to continu tetris but unfortunately, there is only 24 hours in a day.

Amnesia, I'd sort of banked that you wouldn't be in it anyway.

Also, people who skip out a season or two will be reinstated to roughly their old position if they re-join the league.
