Records: [TAP] Master

Pff...

 

Another close one. Though at least it shaves 4 seconds off my previous S9 record! I think I did everything well enough, except I played 700-899 a little too slowly.


Also my screen is crystal clear... that's just a crappy photo.

 

I'm playing like crap today... My survival sucks... But...


I set a new 0-100 section time record!! (0:55:11)


This is special because it beats a record of my PCB's previous owner. This guy was good enough for M in 8:21... quite a bit better than me. It's the first Master Mode record of his I've beaten, so all the other section times below are his.

 

i can't get over how cool it is that you own a pcb -- it is just that much sweeter that the last owner was a pro as well

 

yes and ct i'm sure you don't have the same lag issues many of us do with MAME.

 

I played a little more today. I was still very unreliable, but I managed to crank out a new S8 record for me:




This is notable because it is finally below the 8:45:00 time requirement! Also, it's only S8 because I, yet again, messed up the last section. I'm getting pretty sick of doing this, because it's not bad enough to kill me just ruin my rank. I think I'll start building high before entering the last section so I can get a couple quick tetrises in.


I also got a 999 S6 below 9 minutes, which was kind of funny.

It's unverified. Though I would be very surprised if more of the game was different than the m-roll conditions. On that note, what do people feel about TA vs TAP? They're not different enough to deserve their own charts... I vote we let the records mingle.

 

except the m/gm is so much easier to get in TA...

One way to verify the requirement for grad between TA TAP is to use the cheat and play with only "I"..

We can easily count the tetris/level/grad..
