Zircean is correct. Always mastering time unless you clear the game. If you clear the game, clear time becomes mastering time (instead of the time when you achieved your highest grade). In the post above for example the time of death isn't useful. I only now the S7 mastering time is somewhere under 09:16:38. Shouldn't happen for someone with Death M. You probalbly need to play a little more often and you'll easily clear the game with at least S8. You could have gotten S9 in the game above. In my only S9 so far I got S7 at level 900 and with only one tetris and a few triples I got the S9 grade.
I have no idea why my picture isnt working right, but i finally got my S8 999/999. I would have had a S9 had i not rotated wrong and messed myself up. Blah. But hey it works.

I think I'm actually in 41st place since I didn't complete the game right? Somebody put me too high up there I believe...also, for consistency, you may want to put a 0 to the left of my master time...

Thanks for the encouragement! Besides TAP, I don't really have time for any games these days...my lode runner skills are long gone...to be honest, I was never into as hardcore speedrunning it as you guys. I was pretty decent, but you guys took it to a whole new level with the glitches... I do play TAP every day though...it's just a drug at this point.
The drug...I am starting to crave it too much. Anyway, I have reached 1 but I forgot to take a photo. Yes, I know I am slow, but I have learned speed is nothing if there is no level progress.

You're getting closer to S1 which is an important milestone. Actually the screenshot you posted first is better. You did get a higher level in the second game, but the mastering time (time when you obtained grade 1) is what's important. Indeed the cleaner your play, the higher the score. But don't worry too much about the score since it really doesn't matter. What's up with the different initials?
S8 - 9:02:60 @ 988 Aargh....I got S8 at level 902(!!), and I even landed a tetris after that! I was THIS close to getting S9 and also to finishing, which would have bumped me way up in the leaderboards....instead what do I get bumped up? No spaces! Even though I improved by almost 30 seconds! Yay!
That's really solid! You probably would have finished below 9:10, which puts you under 30 seconds away from a potential M!
