Wonderfull, another french player which get the TAP Master M rank.

It's official. I'm going to play more TAP Master and T.A Death from now on. (I've been practicing with LTAP-DS last months or so playing Death only)
I haven't really played TAP [Master/Death no clone] since spring of 2008. And here I go with two new personal records for both of them on my very first try for each mode.

 

I suddenly decided today that I was going to play some TAP Master.

So, this happened:

I missed orange line by less than three seconds. This kinda pisses me off, but hey, first green line, so I'm not too mad about it.

I keep making incredible strings of mistakes when I have a good game going.

I was actually trying to break 500k in Normal, when I took a break and this happened. My only other non-Normal play of the day was an Orange S9 in 8:25...

 

Not a new record, and disappointingly only a silver SK, but I think this is my fastest completion time. Could a moderator please add this record as a comment to my existing M grade?

 

Congrats both of you. Hope you get Gm soon colour_thief! I'll be playing some Normal later this week too.

 

Slight improvement: S9 - 09:39:21 - silver sk, silver st

 

No new record, but my new fastest clear is 8:57.66 (was a crappy S8 though because I got sloppy in the 800-999 section, and had a horrific botch in the credit roll that covered up basically half the field, most of which was empty).

Perhaps if I can bullshit a good run, M will be much closer than I originally thought...

I updated the leaderboard yesterday with K's best Gm performance. Here is a link to the video for those who haven't seen it yet. He's been busy practicing Death and has been able to get the Gm grade with Gold SK a few times in a day. There's a video of him getting Death Gm back-to-back over here. Not really super fast times yet as he's working on his consistency.

Both of you are extremely close to (G)m. Any idea whether you would have had to deal with the m-roll if you were a little faster Kitaru?

 

I'll make a video later and count tetrises. It's possible, I suppose. I don't think any of the section times would disqualify me from an attempt.

 

Considering it takes far less time to state "OL" than it does to come up with whatever shitty song lyrics Kevin is always quoting, I think it's safer to assume it's a green line.

I don't think I'm very close to M or GM. It's gonna take a while to become consistent. Right now I maybe finish one out of every 15 games.

 

Hmm..This sounds realistic, I should be at 1 out of 6 runs finished..
