So I'm peeping the level counter and seeing that it's at around 970 and the thought crosses my mind that I might not see the end, but I just think to myself, "Screw that, I'm beating this game, I'm holding on for every last line." When I heard the victory fanfare, I just shouted "FUCK YEAH" and lobbed my headphones down at the table. There was no clearing the credits at that point, so I just stood up and let the catharsis roll in.
Congratz, a very impressive stacking. I can't understand how you do to play this way, it is very dangerous (for me at least..) to let the game pull you with his natural speed the whole run (300-999), if you lose control your brain has no room to recover the rythm.
Congrats with this amazing achievement soon after the Carnival Kitaru! You looked pretty much in control most of the game. Resolve of steel in the face of death. I would have done the same with the headphones.
