How did you get past the Torikan? You didn't Tetris any more than I do in that video. Is it because you placed most of the pieces in the middle instead of to the side, so you were able to manual lock more quickly than I can?
No...It is just that kevin was born under the star of the Luck..And that will continu like this for ever..We can't do anything against that. If I had not met him I would think he is a cheater, considering that his improvement is faster than Ghetto's. He've just reached 599 in 3 days since his first M rank and it took me one year to do it..
You shouldn't talk about things like that, even when you're not directly accusing someone, or you're joking. Caithness, line clears don't count for much time anyway, and considering there are sections where the line clear delay is 0, it's even less in Death. Also, don't back off past 300. Don't try and manually lock every piece if it's beyond you (especially past 400) but don't go into the section intending to not lock any. Have to say Kevin, I think you were a bit lucky with the run. Quite a few bad placements in there (eg 249-251 would have gone miles better if you'd put the J on the right), and your stack around 465 could easily have stopped you reaching 500 if you'd not been a tad fortunate with when the I piece came. That said, good luck and bad luck probably make the difference in most of my M games as well.

I found Kevin's 599 video very encouraging because it means I don't need to play very well to get m No seriously though, it made me realize I don't need a significant speed boost in the beginning considering I can hit 300 about when he did and I can do 300-400 in ~35 seconds on a good day.
what has helped me the most is playing smart in 1-299 then shaving off time with moderate manual locking in 300-399
