Nice play FSY. At the start of the last section Gm looked like a done deal. If it weren't for the 2 z-piece at level 984-985 you would probably have succeeded in achieving the Gm grade. Currently, I'm only able to obtain the M rank 5% of the time (approximately), so I certainly wouldn't say that I'm consistent. When I manage to pass level 500, provided I have enough free space to develop a rhythm, I can usually survive 200-300 more levels. I've had lots of games that have ended in the range 650-750, but only four games that have gone past level 800. I am following the advice you gave me, and hopefully I can have many more 800+ games.
