C'est bien mon amour, tu les vaincras tous !! [IMG]

I am not surprised, after your multiple DOOM 150+..

  4. I played a bit TAP Death today. My best attempt was not too good, but a bit faster than the ones with similar level listed on the high scores:

"oh wow I'm about to make it to 300, I remember people saying that 300 speeds were horrible, but I bet it's not that bad... well, shit."

  9. question for the experts: I've quit death mode for a while now, focusing on master mode but tried a couple of games tonight.
Died two or three times around 410 so here is the question: if I train the 400 section with locking, do you think that 408 at 2min50 (my last one) is a enough to get master at 500 ? I would tend to say yes, but need to be sure (since I hate training at 400 with locking lol)

  10. Personally, I don't think you need to lock that solidly after 400 to make the torikan. If you can manually lock pretty much the entire 300-400 section, and keep reasonable pace before 300, then I would say that for you it'd be easily possible to break the torikan, because you're definitely not a slow player.
Can also help your time to reset your speed at 100 to play faster. It's actually possible to play a lot faster after 100 then before 100, but the potential speed increase isn't that noticeable if you remain settled in your 0-100 rhythm.

In short, if you can be quick before 400 then you really don't need to manually lock that hard after 400. You'll still need to do it for some pieces, but you won't need to push too much.

408 at 2:50 is tight cyberguile, but in considering that you sufferd before dying, it should be good..
Try to keep this step : 300 around 2:05, then a "not too agressive but consistant" manual lock the whole 300-400, and then surviving in staying under the middle of the field.

And yes, I never practiced 400 with ML to get the M rank, and even after having done it, DEATH 400 still seem stressing..

  12. I never seem to be getting to 300 in more than 2min10 nowadays so I'll try to increase my 100~ section as rosty said.

  13. got a M rank in the actual game, but it was far from as fast as the texmaster sudden run i made a video of

but i feel good about being able to do it still, and i did survive for longer

  14. Very nice, and respect for doing it in the real game. Will you stop like the group of <600 M players, or will you continue to push further?

  15. thank you very much

i would like to increase my record by as much as i can, by all means, i just think i have to develop certain skills in stacking i dont have yet, in order to be able to completely reliably handle the speed in 500 and up

though the attempt above was surprisingly good after 500 for me, the problem wasnt me misplacing so much as having an unpleasant stack to begin with, so im getting there i think

have people stopped around where im at, ie made a choice to do so? thats strange, i would think anyone would want to do better and better

  16. I'm sure they'd all like better records too. I think it's because there's a big difference between faking 400+ speeds for about a section, and being able to handle those speeds well. First there's a formal wall with the 500 torikan, but there's kind of a second wall after that because it takes a while to truly handle the game's highest speed.

Grrr. I probably spent about 5 seconds at 499. Almost made it...
