I change from SRS to ARS now. That are my first results after 2 weeks .That becomes still long away to level 500
My attempt at TAP death mode. I still need to look at what the goals to reach.(I'm not in a big hurry since I won't be reaching them anytime soon.)
Red star, it is damn fast !! Are you sure that your mame runs well ?? Otherwise, continue !! you could break the 500..
You guys have me scared now. I'm going to check my Mame out. I haven't messed with anything but now I'm very unsure if it is running properly. I consider myself a decent player and I'm ok at ARS but if that score is that good then I need to check my MAME. Marvel vs. Capsom runs great on my MAME but I can't be certain about TAP since I haven't played it much. I'll try playing TAP some more. I don't want the only reason for doing well to be because my MAME isn't working right.
Considering your speed at lockjaw, it is possible that you can reach DEATH 450 with such a good time.. You can still check if your mame run correctly, in checking the time displayed on your game, and then with a comparison by a chronometer..
Red Star, that is insane speed! Even within Japan, the number of players capable of playing that fast can be counted on the fingers of one hand!
Hmm..I think with our best run of our life, c_t and I did it around this time at least one time.. I often see ~440 around 2:45..
Heuu..Sorry, I meant 2:55.. It is very hard to imagine that you can perform such a score on DEATH mode with the difficulties that you mentioned..
I'm definitely going to need to check this out. I'm probably going to be busy today but I'll be able to check it soon. I didn't realise that it was a good time or I would have payed closer attention to the time. I was more surprised that I lasted to 450. My run before that I died at 250 and I've tried it in Texmaster before and I usually can't get over 300. Anyways, I just looked at what kind of time I would need in each section to get that and I definitely thinking that it is a bogus time. You can take it off the leader board. I'll try playing TAP some more and if the time starts working right then I will post another score. Until then I guess I'll play Texmaster Sudden. I'll still try to reach 500 in time but I want to do it with more legitimate means (well as legitimate as playing the game with a keyboard can be considered.)
But can you name them? Everyone keeps saying how there's so-and-so number of death GMs, and so-and-so number of people who can beat the torikan in under 3 minutes, but no one can give a complete list of names. The only person I've actually seen break the torikan comfortably under 3 minutes is SQR. I've heard that 309 and M.T. are similarly fast, and I think NOV and J.O. can just about break 3 minutes when they really push it, but there really can't be that many more.
All I know is that jago said he saw several players break the torikan with 2:45 on the clock every time, when he visited... Kyoto? Some city with a strong TGM culture, where he met ANN among others.
