So, furthermore than doing only tetris', how can I improve my time ? By building up a big central pyramid which takes less time before you lock the tetrominos ? Ive been trying this technic in normal mode which lead me to the first section in 1min08 but in TA Death, the first mistake kills me instantly if I do so
2min06 at 300 for my first m rank. I've passed it for the first time at 2min00 yesterday.. You can do it with 2min10 but you must lock a lot of time during the 300-400 section..Over 2min10 I think it's dead.. You simply need more time of trainning.. Time will decrease a few every weeks! I think Jago and c_t will say the same thing.. When you will be able to lock at 300, you will can consider yourself ready for the m rank!
I actually do lock at 300, coz if I don't, I press the buttons thinking about the next tetromino and it's the one that just felt which turns making a mistake VERY difficult to deal with (for instance, my 415 game, I almost didn't lock at 150~300 to have a perfectly clean screen to start with at 300)
DIGITAL, Have you seriously re-try to reach M rank since your first 528 ?? I don't understand..When I did it the first time, I was sure I could do it when I want... And since I've passed around 7-8 hours in TA DEATH (not in a raw!) and I am unable to do it a new time.. Everybody have a different technic to do it..If you could give me yours..
Amnesia, DIGITAL, how far do you usually get now in Death mode? See, I have this problem of shattering my old record, then not being able to reach anywhere near that until a few weeks later...
That depends... I think I reach easily more than 450 if I play slowly.. But most of time I try to hold this time: 0-100 : ~45sec 100-200 : ~40sec 200-300 : ~40sec .. In order to reach 300 at 2min05 max..This time is not too bad and necessites only few manual lock during the 300-400 section... And because of that I often make mistakes and I lose the most of time at ~250..I rarely reach more than 400.. And the recording of inp stress myself.. Since my first M 2 weeks ago, I've only reach 477 with a bad time.. So don't be anxious if you often do bad score in Death.. Try sometimes to play quietly with no objectif..
I also have speed issues. When I play too fast, I tend to make a mistake during the 280-300 section that haunts me for the rest of the round. As of right now, I often die around 350-450. I've noticed that if I clear my mind of thoughts and goals, I tend to break 400 more often. Pressure and distractions can really affect your performance subconsiously. Also, take a break from playing when you're not doing well. I often break my personal records after not playing for awhile. Can you be more specific about technique Amnesia? If you're referring to the way I stack, I stack most similarly to matt but not as bold.

I know you have to get to level 500 in 3:25 for it to go past level 500. Is there a time for master mode?

Your inp doesn't work for me either. I tried it in both Coin and Free mode. EDIT: Can inps get corrupt? None of mine plays properly for me anymore. The only thing I changed was the coin setting, but I changed it back.
rr..DEATH 500 in 3min27...FUCK!!!! If I don't reach a 2nd time the M rank before the end of week I promise to stop tetris.. But I'm a little happy I've recorded this Death 500.. Now I'm sure, only matt, jago and c_t can save a game and reach M with 2min10 at 300.. For less crazy players like me, DIGITAL and kotetsu, I advice 2min07 max..
