Thanks ct. I turned on Direct 3d usage in the options which seems to reduce lag. It seems that option also adds some weird texture to the graphics.

I wish I had saved an inp for this one: I was almost at the top of the screen from 250 to the end but ragingly didn't want to loose [IMG][IMG]

PS: 400~ didn't seem really faster than 300~, is it just a feeling or the truth ?

  5. Congrats Digital.

    I will catch up. Honest.

Watch this, you can notice the violent decrease of the ARE at 300...

And yes the difference between 200 and 300 is harder than the all differences between others sections..

  7. So it means that once you got used to the 300 speed, it's only a matter of time till you can reach 999 as there is no other Brutal increase of speed ?

  8. Amnesia

    Amnesia Piece of Cake

    Oh no...I can say that..

I feel confortable now at 300, but the speed of 900 gives me yet a lot of difficulties...

    I resist only around 1min20...maximum..

  9. Lol !

Well it's obvious that if you feel ease at 300, you first need to feel ease at 400, then 500 etc etc etc [IMG]
What I meant was that it will certainly be way faster too feel ease at 400 when you already feel ease at 300 (and so on) than going from 200 to 300 (which is really hard)

this table is uncomplete check the correct here.

level 500 is the max speed on death mode. are you refering to Master mode level 900 speed ?

    Ah yes??

I've always thought speed increase every 100 until 900 in death mode..

  12. Do they increase gradually throughout the levels, or is it constant, and changes once the 100 barrier has been passed?

I thought it was a gradual thing, but stats seem to imply otherwise.

  13. It changes at 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500

You have that on the Master mode for the 4 first section..You have a progressive increase of speed..

As I understand descriptions of TAP Master and Death, gravity increases smoothly up to 20G. (At the 200 point in Master, gravity becomes slow again and then goes up from there.) The other parameters (entry delay, lock delay, line delay) change at section boundaries. Am I right?

  16. Is that a trick question? Gravity is fixed at 20G in Death. [IMG]

In Master... That depends on how you define "smooth". Gravity changes by discrete amounts as the level advances, which I suppose is relatively smooth when compared to coarse changes every 100 levels. But it's not dictated by a formula, and doesn't change every single level. It's more of a finer, yet irregularly shaped staircase pattern.

If you check the wiki, I think TGM2 Master has an identical gravity curve as TGM1.

Notice the speed drops from 400-500 as well.

  17. I was referring to ARE, DAS, etc. when I was talking about gradual or sudden changes.

  18. Trying to improve my speed:

Is it a good time ?

  19. It's about 50 levels better than where I usually am at that time, not that I'm a good person to base yourself off.

Getting there cyberguile. The necessary time to reach 500 in 3:25 should be around 2:05 give or take a few seconds.
