It's about 30 MB. Don't ask me why, but they didn't release it through their website (or at least not yet). But it's definitely a real Arika video... they loaded it with the usual TGM ACE ads. It's available on my FTP if you want it. I'd... rather not make FTP details all public though. I guess I could email details if you're actually interested? TGM ACE comes out in a couple days. Rumour has it 360s are semi-region free, with region lockout being up to the publisher. So there's a slim possibility you can play this on an unmodded American 360! Any brave dudes willing to import this and find out?
Weird, they still haven't put the video up on Arika's website, but now Mihara's blog is carrying it, along with yet another new video. They're on a frenzy leading up to tomorrow's release of TGM ACE. http://mihara.sub.jp/top/blog/sb200r/log/eid202.html
Heh, saw your update. You might be interested to know that the real TGM ACE website is here: http://www.aqi.co.jp/product/tetris/index.html Also, it is courteous to credit your sources, even if they are anonymous.
ha, you're like my only source to eastern-tetris relations. and not so anonymous, mind you. i remember you from old gamefaqs discussions. a classical type player, but i see you've taken a good deal of interest in the grandmaster series. i'd like to as well, but it looks like this side of the hemisphere is going to have to wait a bit for that. i'll be sure to update the link. thank, again.
I guess I might as well register. I'm hardly an eastern contact... I'm a Canadian who doesn't know a word of Japanese. And you've actually got it the wrong way around, I'm a TGM player who has a passing interest in other Tetris games. I can name over 100 official Tetris games (!!). I've played TGM for years and am part of a small western community of TGM players, which is how I know so much about the series. ...We're choosing to stay underground for now (Perhaps you downloaded some of our gameplay videos?), but big things are brewing. Thanks for the videos you sent me, by the way. It nice to see the different form exhibited by expert play in other Tetris versions. And a random side note: Your website totally reminds me of myself 3 years ago. Not that I had a website then, but I totally read all those scientific papers. If you're going to school for psychology, I highly recommend taking the course "attention and performance" (3rd year course over here), it's loaded with cool stuff like this.
UK myself, and those videos make me wana play the new TGM soo much (including the ones from the other thread) they need a release for TGM outside of Japan!
It's terrifing.. The two players have the same level.. the density of energy must be enormous around them.. I'm sure we can't approach by less of a few meters because of the energy field they emit ..
