Yes on the wiki..only on the wiki, you forgot to talk about the DAS, maybe the rythm is less fast, but the DAS force you to react faster..
Today I've played hours of Sudden in Texmaster, was near a new record two times. I got REALLY angry from time to time, mashing my hands on the keyboard, yelled etc. Haha! ....I didn't have any fun. =( I was obsessed by wanting a new record, like a drug addict (Texmaster being the drug)... Damn, I want to play because it's fun... ;_; Anyone have any tips on how I should think when playing? Or if I should do something else? Blah. Something. I may quit Tetris if it keeps feeling like this, which I don't want to! I like Tetris.
5 days break helped me alot. However, in that time i transfered my addiction to WoW. I'd recommend NOT picking up a MMO while you go on a break. So now i get the fun task of breaking a WoW addiction.
The way to break an MMO habit is to get to a plateau, a point in the game where you don't know what's worth fighting for. I've been at that point in Animal Crossing twice.
i get stress to easily... i hate guitar hero.. i cant break my friends score because it shows your note streak with big flashy letters right in the middle of the tv.. i get SO nervous ... lol
When it gets to the point when I can't figure out why I made holes and ultimately died, I quit. Normally you can say "misdrop," "failed synchro," "too fast," or whatever, but when you are infuriated with yourself, take a tetris break.
I stopped playing for like 2-3 days after my last post here, if someone's wondering... Then I started to play again. Hah, I really wanted my Tetris fix back. But it was nice taking a little break... But now something I noticed... I've only noticed it this one time, but maybe it's something. Yesterday I had been out all day doing stuff, then when I came home, I broke my record at Sudden in Texmaster after only like three tries.. Then after like one-two tries after that, I broke the recent record with a new record! (I've been playing hours without breaking any record on other days) Today I haven't come near those records.... I've only been home, not doing anything active. I've feelt like a zombie, even if I slept for eight hours. I think physical activity may be a key too. You know, the body sends out stuff that makes you feel better etc. So the road to Grand Master may be shorter if you exercise more? Or at least go outside of your home more.
