Re: [Lockjaw] 40 Lines & 180 Seconds I got sub 50 seconds yesterday with a time of 0:49.41 if I remember correctly. Actually I went under 50 seconds on 3 occasions in about 15 minutes. Even got over 127 TPM once. So there you have it. I kept my promise Kevcel. I'll post my record and replay later today. I feel that while playing on Blockbox I learned to push myself again till it hurts. Masereti thanks for the games the other day. Seeing him play with a TPM over 240 motivated me to just go for it. That's when for the first time I started playing with a TPM over 130 and being somewhat in control. EDIT: Code: Result: Cleared 40 lines at level 40 on 2009-03-25 at 19:22 Played 102 tetrominoes in 0:49.41 (123.84/min) (active time only: 0:44.65, 137.06/min) Pressed 361 keys (3.53/piece) Made 40 lines (single: 13; double: 3; triple: 3; home run: 3; T single: 0; T double: 0; T triple: 0) Sent 21 garbage (25.49 per minute) Left 4 blocks behind LJ score: 8200 Options Well: 10x20, Enter: Above Speed: Zero, ARE: 0 ms Randomizer: Strict history of Tetrominoes Hold: On, empty, Rotation: Arika Lock: Move reset, Deep: Off Line clear: 0 ms Naive, Gluing: Off Drop score: None, T-spin: 3-corner T Garbage: Off, DAS: 116 ms 1G Soft drop: 1G Slide, Hard drop: Lock Shadow: Color, Next: 1
Re: [Lockjaw] 40 Lines & 180 Seconds lets go sub-40, ai! nice how u changed ur character from ai to death
Re: [Lockjaw] 40 Lines & 180 Seconds Congrats Ai ! You should be able to be a bit faster than 49.41...I also think you're a bit faster than me, so I expect a better time soon ...Now it's time to hunt Meroigo...
Re: [Lockjaw] 40 Lines & 180 Seconds Thank you everyone! I don't think I really deserve it though. Remember how at end of last year I was confident that I could do it before the new year. But that is now in the past... Code: Result: Cleared 40 lines at level 40 on 2009-03-28 at 20:50 Played 103 tetrominoes in 0:47.80 (129.28/min) (active time only: 0:42.83, 144.28/min) Pressed 347 keys (3.36/piece) Made 40 lines (single: 20; double: 3; triple: 2; home run: 2; T single: 0; T double: 0; T triple: 0) Sent 15 garbage (18.82 per minute) Left 8 blocks behind LJ score: 7000 Options Well: 10x20, Enter: Above Speed: Zero, ARE: 0 ms Randomizer: Strict history of Tetrominoes Hold: On, empty, Rotation: Arika Lock: Move reset, Deep: Off Line clear: 0 ms Naive, Gluing: Off Drop score: None, T-spin: 3-corner T Garbage: Off, DAS: 116 ms 1G Soft drop: 1G Slide, Hard drop: Lock Shadow: Color, Next: 1 Almost 130 TPM! Thank you Xeal for getting me motivated again! Hopefully you and everyone else will improve too! Next target is to get sub 45 seconds with a TPM around 140, but that will be for later this year. I also want to share the song that was playing in the background when I got my new personal best: http://supercell.sc/music/wim.zip Oh yeah you should watch the replay. This felt like a crappy game, but I somehow managed to do far better than when I think I'm playing good...
Re: [Lockjaw] 40 Lines & 180 Seconds Told ya you could easily get a better time Anyways...I'm glad MEROIGO has been hunted...even though I didn't do it
Re: [Lockjaw] 40 Lines & 180 Seconds Just getting under 50 seconds made things a little easier all of a sudden. I was clearly struggling mentally to go sub 50 seconds. And you shouldn't underestimate Meroigo.

Re: [Lockjaw] 40 Lines & 180 Seconds Yeah that's definitely a huge improvement. You're also jumping quite a few places on the leaderboard. Nice job improving so much so fast. Triple posting is no problem, especially in this case! I've done it before too. A way of preventing double posting is by copying the contents of your previous post and delete the post. Afterwards you can copy the contents of the post again in a new post and add an edit with the new contents. This way you don't double post and you bump the thread back to the top. Of course you don't have to do this. I'm just telling you so you know. Could be helpful in some special cases.

Re: [Lockjaw] 40 Lines & 180 Seconds Almost sub 60 seconds and 100 tpm gs68! I can't believe there were no times submitted for 2 weeks!
Re: [Lockjaw] 40 Lines & 180 Seconds Thanks. Speaking of TPM, I played some more rounds after and this made me cry internally a little bit...faster TPM but slightly slower time. Code: Result: Cleared 40 lines at level 40 on 2009-04-16 at 23:53 Played 110 tetrominoes in 1:03.48 (103.96/min) (active time only: 0:58.61, 112.59/min) Pressed 369 keys (3.35/piece) Made 40 lines (single: 7; double: 3; triple: 1; home run: 6; T single: 0; T double: 0; T triple: 0) Sent 31 garbage (29.29 per minute) Left 36 blocks behind LJ (nerfed spin) score: 11794 Options Well: 10x20, Enter: Below Speed: Zero, ARE: 0 ms Randomizer: History 6 rolls of Tetrominoes Hold: On, empty, Rotation: Arika+initial Lock: Step reset, Deep: Off Line clear: 0 ms Naive, Gluing: Off Drop score: Drop, T-spin: 3-corner T Garbage: Off, DAS: 166 ms 1G Soft drop: 1G Lock, Hard drop: Lock Shadow: Fainter color, Next: 3
Re: [Lockjaw] 40 Lines & 180 Seconds "Left 36 blocks behind" It looks like you need to play a bit of Drill Attack. Given the recent interest in multiplayer with Tnet-style pure random garbage, I'm still confused as to why Corrosive or somebody hasn't put up a leaderboard for that mode yet.
