I gave it one try (all I have time for; I'm busy lately) 92361 score, 221 lines. (Bottom rots of course) Don't think I hit 20G yet but a series of misdrops took me to the top of the stack where I survived making about 40 singles and doubles, but then succumbed to the randomizer.

Massive combo abuse in the beginning. ; It would be nice if the game saved the highscores for the different modes, but I'm not sure that's possible. And the game should show what rotation mode is being used somewhere next to the current score.

scoring tip. it does not matter where in the combo any line clear is! Example single-double-triple-tetris 1X1+2X3+3X6+ 4X10=65 tetris-triple-double-single 4x4+3X7+2x9+1X10=65 You can check ANY combo you like, and swap the order of the clears around, and the score is exactly the same. Keeping this in mind, starting a combo with a tetris is better than trying to end it with one.
EDIT: 116874, 289 lines. Nestopia, laptop keyboard. screenshot is updated. Getting two tetrises in a combo is just way too important from a scoring perspective, and it takes a lot of luck.

Wish I had a power pak and CRT, would probably score higher. Sigh. figures now that i actually have a good score, no one will update the leaderboard. sigh. my webserver doesnt' have ssl, so you will have to manually open in new page
