There's no specific Cultris preset. Also, the spawn positions of tetrominoes in Cultris are different and there currently is no way to adjust that. You can get something similar by adjusting some settings like the sideways movement, ARE, and lock delay.

  2. Can do:

    Sideways Speed - 60HZ
    Max Sideways delay - 116MS
    Soft Drop - 1 G
    Allow Diagonal Motion - On
    Piece Preview - 1

Keep in mind what DIGTAL said:
The options I have given you are just a guide line.

You may want to change the block colours to that of cultris aswell.

Very nice start. You'll probably be breaking 130 tpm and then 140 tpm very soon at this rate.

Also, remember to save the replay so you won't lose record setting games.

It seems like the LJ crowd is leaning towards a Cultris oriented mind. Who here still likes to build up for tetrises?

Anyway, the replay wasn't too shabby. Once you get a hang of the DAS, you'll improve drastically.

I just noticed that you didn't use the Hold function. (Very true to Cultris indeed) It has it's pros and cons I suppose. If you're going for tetrises, they're invaluable. Very nice and consistent so far.

  11. when i speed attack, i don't hold or go for tetrises. neither do dtet people.

    so is 180 second LJ.

I am working on building for tetrises, im working on cracking marathon on TDS with 50 consecutive tetrises. It just feels right.

  13. Although, TGM3's EASY mode is a mode focused specifically on consecutive line clears and T-spins... [IMG]

  14. Not even caffeine's 5:25 speedrun has 50 back-to-back tetrises...

I know, but it can be done. and I'm not sure if caffeine was even going for that, although it would have knocked a bit of time off because of line clear delay. I know it's possible though, i think Jujube has done it? someone told me they had over blockstats.

and then of course tetris all the way to score maxout!!! [IMG]

  16. It almost certainly is what he was aiming for. However, the thing about speedrunning is that you have to be prepared to throw your plans out of the window if you either fuck up or get extreme amounts of luck/misfortune.

  17. I thought most people here had done it. If you really take your time it shouldn't be all that hard. I hardly play TDS (maybe an hour a month) and I have done quite a few times now.
Caffeine speeds runs is better in my opinion than a game of 50 back-to-back tetrises, simply beacuse he is going so dam fast. Like I said before 50 should'nt be to hard so long as your going pretty slow.

Hense 50 back-to-back tetrises in under 5:25 would be amazing!

  18. i thought everyone did 50b2b when it came out, before we knew about t-spins.
