LOCKJAW: It's a compound word whose initials are L and J, the names of tetrominoes. "Tetris" sounds like Tet and its characteristic symptom Tris, also called lockjaw. Vadim Gerasimov's Tetris page claims that Alexey's game was called Genetic Engineering at one time during development, and there was an old cloudmakers ARG called Lockjaw whose plot revolved around genetic engineering.
