My addition to this year's carnival. Didn't get to play as much as I hoped but I still got a new PB 186 2:01:58 http://www.hitbox.tv/video/958799 since I'm to lazy to make a screenshot
Wow I'm out of shape! Definitely took a bunch of plays before I was getting back into the swing of things. Then after failing to even hit 500 for a long while, I hit a nice and healthy 650: Despite being terribly out of shape and feeling pretty nervous after I hit M, I felt in control for most of 500+ and feel like I should really start shooting for that GM sometime again
Finally had the time for a lengthy session yesterday. It's not much, but I think it might be a new PB: 345 At most, it's just a couple of levels above what I've done before, but for the first time I actually felt sort of in control at level 300+, rather than just being instantly raped upon entering the section. At one point I had to actually look down and check, just to make sure that I'd made it past 300 (the game sound was too low to hear over my music).
Updated. Trying to add people's PBs in there just for documentation. Cutoff will be soon. If you want your score in there, do it now!
Best so far for the carnival. Still haven't beat my PB, but I guess I'm happy with that. Still derping out in the 300's. As an aside, something interesting that I noticed is that if I'm listening to someone talking in the background (Like in a YouTube video)- I tend to do better because I'm less stressed when approaching my PB.
Kevcel 341 @ 2:55:10. This is not a Carnival of Death pb. I just realized that my previous 7 score actually was my official Super Personal Best on Death [TAP], since I've always played on Texmaster Sudden and never posted any result of TAP on the competition board
even slow, it has to be a GM to hold the tradition nice to see so many new players, maybe next year we reach 40000
Yesterday kinda was the last day. Cutoff is lenient. Just get scores in and I'll say stop in ~2, 3 hours
I got a pb, 568! And it was before the cutoff! But I didn't have internet access at the time. Just my luck lol
Glad to see the community exploded the previous record when neither jago nor amnesia submited scores ! Looks like there is a clear AGDQ effect that is revitalizing the community Hope to see even more people participating next year, keep on stacking !
