Carnival of Derp

  1. Welcome to the side-event called Carnival of Derp!

    Rules are simple: play Death with proper speedcurve and torikan, but with changed ruleset. For example, Ti-ARS with 3 previews+hold, SRS without previews, or even use NES rotations! Just remember to specify the ruleset in your post.

  2. I'll start with my custom rotation system, which I made for my own Tetris game called Blockdrop.
    I believe all other things are unchanged compared to TAP Death.

  7. Would regular Death starting at 500 fit? (Subtracting 500 from the final score of course)
     
  8. Not really, because:
    1. you are still playing "real" death
    2. you are skipping half of the game, including torikan.

  10. Alright, so what do we pan this to, "Current" being "whatever Null ships with"?

  11. Current is whatever you've chosen in Options -> Rule Select -> Tetromino.

    So it's Null's default/standard ruling.

    Which I proceeded to do poorly on because Null decided "Up" was "lock". >.<;

  15. Since, the real Carnival of Death has ended, Carnival of Derp comes to its end too. We had 5 players playing in 7 rulesets, with extremely wide range of difficulties. We've contributed a good few thousand levels to the derp toll. Let's hope we'll crush both tolls next year!
