    yes, it can, but only option if you want to navigate it to the far left or just had one block on the eighth column if you want it to be stacked on the far right...

  2. I don't play fighting games but I'm pretty sure they're not about being clever. In TGM you have control of the situation. Synchro moves are the "bruteforce" approach to being a better player. The real skillset to aim for is placing blocks more intelligently so that you are never in a bad situation for long.

    I am saying this as someone who is successfully pulling off synchro moves noticeably more often than I did when playing TGM1. I just don't like using them unless I have to. Clearly we have a difference of opinion here though... Let's just leave it at that.

    Yeah, I can't think of a situation that would come up where I wouldn't rather go Right Right Counterclokwise.

    i'm at work and :

    Shity Microsoft product and his damn I.E.

    i've wrote a long post, but the forum didn't accepted it, and I.E. don't know what is "back and remember the text", witch is not a problem with FIREFOX (and other? )

    i'm pissed off...

  6. Jago, I've reflected on this and I think I have a good way of summarizing my opinion.

    Code:
    [][]    [][]
    []     []{}
    []  {}{} []{}{}
    [][]{}{}  [][]{}
    [][][]   [][][]

    This move and variations on it happen often in the videos, yes? But every single time, players use DAS for the auto-synchro. But surely, there are good reasons to do a manual synchro:

    -it is faster

    -DAS changes with the level, so auto-synchro takes varying timing while manual synchro is always the same

    The simple fact is that these excellent players choose the auto-synchro every time. This is because in the end it is more reliable.

    Ok i write again about last missed post.

    I don't insist that it's only by using Synchro or other technical move during game that you will become a truly grandmaster. I just wanted to quote the funny cyberguile's gameplay simplification about TGM.

    But even by puting aside too technical/dangerous move as synchro, the mind with which you approach the game, is directly linked by your knowledge of ARS possibilities & skills.

    But when i play now, i do a lot of non optimized placement. the place came instantly in mind and i rely to it. less reflexion = more speed = more saved time.

    The only general gameplay behavior i intend to follow is to keep the stack low, because it is the best way i've found to handle my stress pressure.

    From level 300 of Death mode, i just become a space monkey turning a lever and pressing a button. a reflex test investigation in biological process...

  8. Ah, so we are on the same page after all. Synchro moves aren't negligible, but hey should not be a beginner's concern. The most essential is to know the most simple and reliable high speed movement options.

  9. "and I'm becoming increasingly frustrated at my inability to play fast enough."

    okay, i've thought about it, and here's what i've come up with in the end.

    two words:

    strive -- to exert much effort or energy / attempt by employing effort

    tenacity -- persistent determination

    i think that's really what it comes down to.

  10. 100% agreed, and I think jago will say the same. That applies to any game you want to get good at, really. Zombie practice is a waste of time, or at best very innefficient.
