I think I'll wait... As much as I think I'll be able to get those records again sooner or later, I'd prefer to keep them.
no doubt, my 40 lines increased by 10 seconds with that DAS at 8, but i need to keep the DAS there to adjust. i think the rebound on the stick is too slow and triggers it.
Deniax, it'd be nice if when you were playing multiplayer, the "continue/quit" thing showing the scores would automatically close itself when all other players drop out. Only a minor thing, but can be a bit irritating when sitting there waiting for the next game to start before realising there are no players left. Applies to all versions, not just the UK one obviously.
Version 8.8.8-Build20090318-1763 has been installed Changes: - DAS and Shift Gravity in the Expert Settings will now affect multiplayer rated games - Big next piece is now off by default - Added 180 degree rotation option for ARS & SRS rotations (only active in 40 lines, multiplayer (and Driller & Survivor in the future) - In a multiplayer game, now you can see who has pressed "Next Round" and who hasn't - When you die because of the Torikan rule, this will count as a "new grade" in Expert Ti - Translated some graphics to English that were still in Dutch
I don't know if this is affecting just me or not (Looking through the replays it seems to be just me), but right now DAS works strangely. People who know more about Tetris than me, verify if I'm right or crazy please. I've made mistakes with things I thought were wrong in this game before, so if I'm wrong don't make too much fun of me. This example is taken from one of my replays. It seems the double high score thing happened for me, even though I haven't played on the dutch site since registering the new account. The replay referenced here is my replay that is 29 seconds long, not the 23 second one. It's in about 142nd place (as of this post) for people who want to look for it. It should also be saved under ID 31035. It happens right at the beginning. Attempting a diagram, Bear with me. (Space) = unoccupied space * = occupied space + = The piece I think ends up in the wrong place I'm using ARS. And playing TA Expert mode. Here's the bottom of my well: Code: ** * * ***** *** My next piece is a "J".I charge my DAS during entry delay, and initial rotate it clockwise. My well ends up looking like this: Code: + + ++ ** * * ***** *** Even though I think because of the 20G, the J piece should have ended up here: Code: + ** * + * *****++*** In short when my DAS is charged, it immediately sends the block to the far left or the far right of the well. (In all modes, but it only really bothers me in 20G).
Kasumi, you're not crazy. The last set of changes also introduced a bug making DAS have an instant repeat rate for all modes bar multiplayer and 40 lines. It's not intentional behaviour and I expect it'll be fixed pretty quickly.
Can I have my account converted to work on the English site too, please? If this gets popular enough I might just boot into Windows just so I can play it.
do you have vm ware? you wouldn't need to boot into windows if you did. I haven't tried sun's Virtual Box, but it is free for OS X and should work just as well I'm using linux in a vm to play and it works great.
Another suggestion, originally by Zircean I think, was to allow spectators to be able to change the player which is on the main field, rather than it always being the host player.
M I'm playing using VMWare Fusion at home, but I can't really recommend it. Better solution is using Bootcamp Rosti_FEY It's on the to-do list. Will be finished in 1 or 2 weeks
