Yeah. I am somewhat competitive and failing Lv19 after max 10 lines constantly is kinda demotivating. The 47 lines was quite the exception plus playing fairly risk-averse. But it's slowly reaching the point I get more and more comfortable with 19 and thus I managed to have a new PB. My main issue for now is either stupid misdrops when DAS barely isn't enough OR more often than that I end up fucking up in situations that are new to my brain and I take a split second too long to think, thus I react too slowly, misdrop and then it becomes a chain of unfortunate events. My Lv19 PB is the best example for that. With this PB I also have a theoretical 900k with my best 18 and 19 combined.(please don't put this into the lv19 leaderboard)

637.376 transition and I choke it like an idiot with 2 stupid post-transition misdrops in a row. This should've reached over the 700k mark. So essentially my pb of best 18 and 19 (the one from 10 days ago) right now is 8000 points short of 900k.

hey kitaru, please figure out my 29.xx i think my thing is 29.1x or so using my math i got: 232 - (972047 + 1200*30 - 999999) / (1200*30) 231.776444444, which is 29 + 1.8

I was curious to know who had the most 1.2s? I know Jonas, Joseph, Koryan, and TylerP have at least 2, and that Richard only has one - though he did just score 1,199,979 earlier today (!): www.twitch.tv/videos/467359277?t=00h52m39s I'll assume Harry only has one also, given that his PB is just above 1.2. Anybody know?

Sorry for posting again ... literally got this the other day (today), followed by a 830'020 game that died in Level 26 with a very good pace and the chance to get my first ever 900k+ score. Two 800's in a row, also something I never managed to achieve so far. Name: Eris Score: 883'620 (18-29) Date: Aug 16th, 2019 Hardware: NES + CRT + Controller Country: Switzerland Video:

Sorry again for posting again, but PB's happen when they happen, sometimes insanely often, sometimes not for a year. This was - once again - a pretty fast new PB. Name: Eris Score: 905'740 (18-27, 212 Lines) Date: Aug 20th, 2019 Hardware: NES + CRT + Controller Country: Switzerland Video:

it wasn't recognized in the Guiness world records because there wasn't a camera to show the console + video quality wasn't great. tbf harry's video quality isn't any better, but TL;DR it was because it wasn't recognized by Guiness world records (lol) that it isn't "official" Nowadays of course our standards have relaxed in some ways and tightened in others. For e.g, an emulator maxout, especially with keyboard in 2005 would have been considered not official but now you could use retroarch + runahead + keyboard + crt to get an "easier" game than console and maxout and no one would blink an eyelid. In fact there's a video of Jonas 19 maxing before Harry 18 maxed.
