I've recently become interested in a Tetris app on my phone and have actively searched for a decent free Tetris clone online. In particular I'm interested in Lockjaw but I see the site where you could originally download it from has been shutdown. Is there any way to download it anymore? Also, I'm not too interested in multiplayer Tetris just single player marathon, that sort of thing. Are there any other decent clones I should try out? Thanks -Greg Wegmann
Edit: Wait, on your phone? What sort of phone? Edit 2: Okay, I'm just confused. It says in the topic title PC, so that's what I'm going with. If you've become interested because of an app on your phone, you probably like the sort of gameplay Nullpomino can provide you. It contains a play-for-score marathon mode, and likely also has the piece behavior you're used to. Texmaster is another. Texmaster aims to clone the Tetris Grandmaster series exclusively, so it contains very challenging game modes where score is much less important. Nullpomino can do most of what Texmaster does and more (and in fact contains all the modes Texmaster does except maybe Doubles) but I prefer Texmaster just because it runs better on my computer. Also Nullpomino allows you to use certain piece behavior that might make the Grandmaster modes easier, so be aware of that if you're interested in those. Lockjaw was cool in that it offered many, many options to customize the feel of the game, but Nullpomino provides a good amount of that as well. Also all the options may be overwhelming to someone who doesn't know what the terms are.
