Hey Guys! i'm new on tetris games, so i wanted to do some questions 1.what is SRS, ARS, DRS... 2.what is TGM, TAP, TI... 3. (this is my sister's question) how do you put custom midis on heboris? i think that i may learn first to play later
hi and welcome. you can find out about the rotation systems here: http://www.tetrisconcept.com/wiki/index ... on_Systems and TGM series games here: http://www.tetrisconcept.com/wiki/index.php/TGM_series i'm pretty sure you can use custom wav files in Heboris, but i don't know about midi. edit: looks like the bgm is midi and the sound effects are wav. just replace those files in the bgm and se folders with your own files of the same name.
in the settings the music can be changed to MP3, MIDI, MIDI (SIMPLE), WAV and 3 types of MODs... and i'm using Heboris UE C++ DX9
SRS = Super Rotation System ARS = Arika Rotation System DRS = DTET Rotation System As you can already tell, they're all different types of rotation systems. You can learn more about the behaviors they influence on the wiki. SRS is generally used in modern official games. ARS is used in TGM games. DRS is used in DTET. TGM, TAP, and Ti are all tetris games in the Tetris the Grandmaster (TGM) series made by the company, Arika. You can learn more about the specifics on the wiki as well. As for how to use custom midis, I'm not sure about that myself. You can convert them to mp3/wav if that's an option.
Try Switch. Somewhat nagware (nch says "download/buy our other products pleaseplease", but converts wave to mp3 and vice-versa. You'll need plugins for most other formats, though these are available somewhere else on the Switch website.
