  3. Juste a little search on Kotaku and Joystiq, nothing colossal, really ^^ .

  4. You already knew this I'm sure, but at the heart of every Tetris player lies a vandal and anarchist.

Thank you Petit Prince, I was tempted to make a similar topic. It's much nicer to have them all together.

  5. Wow, there are actually a couple there I had never seen.

    The pillows are pretty cool.

Any objection to me listing these links on blockstats?

  12. No. It's a forum thread, after all.

  13. I don't mean to disrespect the guy, but I've read complete transcripts from his past presentations and he didn't really say anything interesting.

Actually, thinking back, I think I read the actual powerpoint that was used for the presentation. He presented at least 2 years alongside Scott Kim, and they were available on his website. And still are, apparently:

Someone should start a "developer interviews" thread to cover interesting stuff like this.

  14. i found this article about the game design contest. apparently the game designers had to make a game out of a cloth, needle, and thread. of course, alexey's game pwned everybody else's:

It appears that Mr. Pajitnov must have reinvented a game that I remember from the Apple II computer. It was called Bridge-It, and its BASIC source code appeared in Write Your Own Apple Games.

  16. I'm pretty sure I've played that game on paper, or something very similar.

Just found this when I was looking for free games, there also happens to be another in acid-play(another freeware site), sadly, I can't check it out cause I'm at work and I doubt my Riva TNT2 could run it.
