the one thing I got from that video that I didn't know before. do your best to skim with L triples, because the line clear delay is huge.

Wow that's a cool video! Look at that stacking man! Why does he keep stacking so high on purpose? Isn't it more difficult to play that way? I'd be nice if you could link to other cool videos!
Because there is no way to instantly drop pieces in TGM1, time-attacking players will stack as high as possible during the early part of the game so that pieces have less distance to fall.
I watched the video yesterday. Wow. =) I'm gonna watch it alot of more times. Learning stuff from it... Haha, btw, someone put the link to my mirror on 2ch, now my server has sent out the video nearly 300 times.
