Hello, I'm new here, and had a couple questions about Tetris Party for the Wii. I only have two achievements left to get in the game, so I have a question for each, plus another question about multiplayer mode. 1. Does anyone know what the achievement for Co-op Endless on is? I cannot get more than 120k without the computer screwing up, and I rarely have anyone skilled enough to play with, so I want to know what we're aiming for if I can find someone at my college who is good. 2. For the 10 mil Endless Marathon achievement, what is the fastest way to accomplish it? It took me two hours to get to 5 mil using b2b tetrises. Should I start practicing t-spin doubles instead? 3. What is the best strategy for multiplayer? Tetrises, t-spins, combination? I consider myself a very good player (placed in the top 75 in the first tournament but was too busy to do the others) but I want to get better. Thanks.
Unless things have changed rapidly from Tetris DS, the best strategy for multiplayer is a combination of t-spin doubles and Tetrises. T-spin Doubles because they are easy to set up and quick to pull off, Tetrises because they are the most effective way to clear a lot of lines on your screen and send a fair amount of garbage to opponents. Preferably doing them back-to-back to send extra garbage.
I would imagine that ST stacking would be the fastest way, but you really don't want to do that. You wouldn't be able to keep it up long enough. I would recommend just stacking for tetrises; if you screw up (and at some point you will screw up) it'll be much easier to recover.
Ok, cool. I was doing all tetrises for my 5 mil run but it got late and I lost on purpose. I suppose I'll just have to set aside four hours to get this done. In case it isn't obvious enough, I am a completist So does anyone know the achievement for Co-op endless? I've looked all over the internet with no mention.
I think it's 500,000 for Co-op Endless, but I'm not positive. I find ST stacking slightly faster for racking up points, but stacking as fast as I can for tetrises isn't too much worse than that. For multiplayer I recommend doing back-to-back t-spins and tetrises, and when you can do 2 or 3 of them in combo you should continue doing as many line clears as you can after that to add as much garbage as you can with a combo chain.
Pause feature rocks on endless mode. You can pause it occasionally switch input and go back to play tetris later (if you do not mind leaving your wii on). For doubles you can try having a friend play the left side and go as slow as possible. This allows you to get in as many t-spins as possible and rack up the points.
i read somewhere that co-op is only available locally. maybe it's because the smallest amount of lag would make it unplayable.
