So I looked at some video to try to figure out just how slow this game is. (I could only record deinterlaced 480i video, so the uncertainty in these numbers is about 2 frames.) On level 1, ARE appears to be .27 seconds or 16 frames, vs .04 seconds or 2 frames on level 15, so I'm guessing ARE goes down 1 frame per level, but I'm not about to check every level. ARE + line clear delay appears to be 1.07 seconds or 64 frames on level 1 vs .83 seconds or 50 frames on level 15, so it looks like the line clear delay is a whopping 48 frames regardless of level. DAS appears to be .27 seconds or 16 frames and then 3 frames per subsequent shift regardless of level. Once the rotation centre stops dropping there appears to be approximately 1.7 seconds or 100 frames for you to continually spin the piece before it sets regardless of level.
