My dad was in japan recently. When he came back he brought me a little hand held game called Tetris Jr. 2. Its a fun little game, although the well is a little bit different size then the standard well. So my question is does anyone else have one of these? And if you do can you pllleeeaaassseee tell me what the different game modes are because i can't read the manual because it is in what i assume to be japanese. oh and i also found a picture of it here: http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Misc/HiroTetrisJr2.htm
I don't have it, but I can read a bit of Japanese, so if you scan the manual, I might be able to make some sense out of it.
I've never seen Tetris Jr. 2. But if it helps, the original Tetris Jr. had a mode with three special pieces, two of which I recognized from Dueltris, a 2-player tetromino game for Apple IIGS: Block dropper. Press a button to place a block on the ground below the piece. (In Dueltris.) Bomb dropper. Press a button to remove the block directly below the piece. (Also in Dueltris.) "Ghost" piece, a single block that could pass "behind" blocks in the field, as long as there was a hole directly below it, and fill a hole. (This was before The New Tetris redefined "ghost" to mean what Lockjaw calls the shadow.)
