For some reason, my TDS rating on blockstats keeps changing from 5850 to 6101, and vice versa, even though I havn't played in a few weeks.
This suggests (to me) that there are two players on the Nintendo wifi hub with the same username. blockstats has no way of telling they're two different people. (Okay, this is a gross oversimplification, but it's almost true.) I would like to hijack this thread and suggest that blockstats provide a "ranking" out of all users whose ratings have changed within the last, say, two months. For example, this ranking would place Mihara in second, since TGM-Master hasn't played in ages. It would also ensure that people who cheated their way into the top 10/50/whatever then got bored would eventually fall off the ranking list, and that people who changed their names would only have one entry. (Hell, GTy alone has 5 or 6 names in the top 100.)
I'm all for that suggestion, only I'd shorten the time period to two weeks. If you go for that long without playing, you'll just have to wait for your name to show up again.
For me blockstats seems to consistently be an update behind. For Example: On Monday night I play and go from 7611 to 7637. Tuesday Morning I'm at 7611 on blockstats and I play and get to 7697 Tuesday evening I'm at 7637.
I've been at 7520 for about 4 days now and I'm still at 7506 according to blockstats. Oh, the gaming hub has me at 7506, so it's the hubs fault. Maybe I need to connect to WiFi for it to update? I don't think I ever stopped at 7506, though. Weird.
My score does that frequently. Going online an then disconnecting properly usually solves the problem
