can someone direct me to somewhere that tells about the point system in Mission Marathon?

Is it just based upon # of hearts left when you complete each mission?

On level 20, each heart is worth 2000 points. Empty hearts is 21000 points, full hearts is 41000 points. The only points you earn is for the amount of time (hearts) left.

The only way to get a top score is to intentionally fail any mission that you can't complete very quickly.

so.... it forces you to COMPLETE 40 missions unless you top out?

so you might not want to complete missions that take forever like the z/s mission?

    i think i'm getting it.

    Right, 40 missions then done.

This is how I presented it over at NSider:

Marathon: Scoring is determined by how long it takes to clear each mission, where the timer is represented by the 10 depleting hearts in the lower right corner. Top scores are achieved by starting at level 20 and only completing missions that can be finished immediately. For any missions that may take longer than the first or second heart, you should plan on failing the mission and instead work on clearing away garbage to get the stack as low as possible. When you are doing this, be sure that you don't accidentally complete the mission as the timer will most likely have gotten low and you'll lose out on a lot of points.

On level 20, the points range fron 21,000 (timer empty) to 41,000 (timer full) per mission where each heart is worth 2,000 points. In an ideal run, you'd only complete missions that require the drop of a single tetrimino and fail the rest (using this time to clear garbage).
