Both variants of 3-corner T. But the algorithm difference really matters only for TS singles performed by kicking against the floor and side walls, such as fiddlesworth's opening and TS single downstacking. It doesn't matter for ST stacking.

okay, so t-spins did in fact add points in worlds. i'm retarded, then. even so, i think the rules still look appropriate for "classic." if demand becomes high, then i don't see why we can't make an alternative ruleset, which include ts bonuses. always keeping me on my toes, teps.

edit: okay, i can't think of any other way to cheat other than modify the scoring formula, but we can identify if someone's tampered with that, right? if you come up with anything else, let me know.

To an extent, yes. Scoring formula should be 100 * single + 400 * double + 700 * triple + 1200 * homerun + 200 * back-to-back + 20 * rhythm beat skips. Take the score, subtract out the first four terms of this formula, and see if the number of back-to-backs is reasonable.

  16. Maybe you should add a back to back count in the end stats screen.

well sure you can cheat, its acualy quite easy. All you have to do is first think of a number of tetrominoes played in the 3 minutes, don't make it to rediculus. Then you have to come up with the number of lines taking in to account that there is an average of 10-13 tetrominoes per 4 lines. then you put the lines into the scoring formula, which can be found in atleast the source which is packaged with lockjaw (not the os x version tho). You also shouldn't clear almost all of the tetrominoes (leave around 10-20). The real solution would be to have people provide screenshots so you can see if they faked it. But then again it is posible to fake the screenshot but it would be alot harder.

P.S: i didn't use this method to cheat i just was extremely bored so i desided to invent one.

  19. well yeah-- anyone could say they got a score they didn't. i mean, there has to be somewhat of an honor system to even do this sort of thing. it's not like we're playing for money anyway. i was kind of hoping no one that much of a dick to do that sort of thing. there's not too much i can really do about it.
