I doubt he's sub 25 so at least 4 people in the western world are faster than him

It wouldn't surprise me if he was still the fastest presuming he was still playing. No real way to know though unless he's posting his score somewhere.

Not so long ago someone commented on HD that a few Tetris Hangame (official Korean Tetris game) players have times under 23 seconds. Apparently the fastest time for 40 lines on the site at the time was 21.97 seconds.

This could well be an official world record if it's legit. I also wonder if the Hangame players are at a disadvantage compared to the people playing NullpoMino, BB etc.?

 

yea hangame has some delays and they're very strict about modifying keyboard controls
