    and you're doing awesome, and you either forgot which key is the pause button or this particular program doens't pause and you need to scratch your nose or whatever, do you...

  2. I totally just wait for a placement that doesn't need rotation, and then I play that piece one-handed.

    If I felt the game was nothing phenomenal, oh I'd totally give in to my bodily desires... [IMG]

    But in the face of glory, feeling the burn is the least of my problems!

  4. If I was playing something super fast with absolutely no wait time, I'd just feel the burn. But as a rule, most of the time it's easy enough to find time for a REALLY quick scratch.

    meditate deeply, and channel the itch from your nose all the way to the tip of your finger. then relieve it by pressing the key.

  6. This is why I always take an allergy pill before I sit down to play Tetris, because it never fails that a sneeze throws me off or my skin starts to itch everywhere.

  7. ACE-ARS2: Abuse infinity.
    Texmaster, everything else: Esc... once... then hope I don't esc again to accidentally quit out of the program.

  8. hmmmm maybe it'd be easier if i remapped pause to something closer to my controls than 'P'...

    right now I wait for something like an O piece.

    My Ti doesn't have a pause button. I generally just feel the burn until my game ends.

  10. I encountered this situation today actually! This is what I did:

  11. the worst is when a housefly comes out of nowhere to bother you.

    the buzzing sound that flies+bees make is possibly my biggest phobia -_-;

  12. Fight through it. Finish the game with whatever thing is irritating you, then deal with it.

    Then play another game and it'll feel so much easier without the distraction.

    I just try to get it really fast when I think I have a good opportunity to do it without messing up. For when there is pause button I just use it. But in most cases I can't find the right rythm right away and have to start over anyway.
